Doron Adorian

Doron Adorian (b. 1986), a painter from Kibbutz Sde Nehemia in the Upper Galilee, is currently based in Tel Aviv. She holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from Oranim College in the Artist-Teacher program. Her practice explores memory, belonging, and fragile yet resilient northern landscapes, with recurring motifs of thorns and childhood imagery. Over the past two years, she has worked from an underground studio in central Tel Aviv, creating large-scale canvases inspired by photographs sent by members of her kibbutz’s emergency squad. Alongside her artistic work, she co-founded associations to support young artists in the Galilee. She has exhibited at Fresh Paint art fair and in group shows, and her works are held in private collections as well as the U.S. Embassy collection.

For me, art is an act of freedom and individualism, imagination, exploration, a world of my own, but also an opportunity to connect. Images are universal, and the human experience is eventually moments we remember. We feel pain. We seek love, and we create art.
